The Nominating Committee assembled a slate of candidates for Society leadership positions, including bios and personal statements.

Constitutional Amendment

One amendment is proposed to Article 5, Sections 3 and 4, to simplify the creation of the Nominating Committee and to more clearly specify the sequence of steps involved in the nomination and election processes.

Election Process

Voting closed on December 15, 2007. The newly elected Officers and Board Members will be announced in the December issue of dgOnline, and will begin their terms on January 1, 2008.  President-elect Eduard Hovy will begin his term as President and Sharon Dawes will become Past-President at that time.
